Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the development of Quince' marketing software platform and related applications
• Be involved in design, implementation, testing and maintenance activities
• Liaise with users, team lead and manager, to understand requirements and provide the best possible solutions for users
• Pro-active approach to preserving knowledge by creating documentation and involving team members
• Take responsibility for the quality of your own work by (unit) testing it

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Flexible, with good work ethics, used to the pressure of deadlines
• Open-minded team player as well as an independent professional
• Ambitious and inquisitive
• Ability to view our own work from the client's perspective
• Bachelor's degree/technical certification in Computer Science or related subject
• 2-5 years experience in Java/J2EE based web application development
• 2-5 years experience with relational databases (JDBC/SQL)
• 2 years experience with Struts/Spring/Hibernate and JSP technology
• 2 years experience with HTML/JavaScript/CSS
• Basic understanding of UML
