What is Proudly Open Minded?

Quince wants to make a difference. Not only on a business level, but also on an awareness level, within our organization and our world. Years ago Quince decided to dedicate part of her efforts and means to society. Therefore we facilitate our staff in helping other people get a better life.

We believe this helps them broaden their social perspective and enforces personal involvement. We actively support our staff to develop social projects that help people get a better life. Close to home, for instance by helping elderly people that are lonely and poor. Or abroad, by helping children in third world countries get a proper education and a chance on a better life.

The POM foundation is the base for all actions and efforts initiated by Quince staff and provides the guidelines and conditions for the projects carried out in its name.

Soccerbuddies is a soccer school, where children who don’t have much to live for, will be challenged to experience teamwork, discipline and perseverance and most of all fun. Soccerbuddies’ objective is keeping kids off the streets and providing them with a life that doesn’t involve crime, STD’s and drugs.

Studybuddies puts in effort to help deprived children in deprived areas by offering them a chance on education. Not by giving large, but by acting small. Help varies from handing out teaching material to building schools.

How POM works
We choose our projects based on effectiveness and future perspective, because we really want to make a difference for the people we’re helping. Not just now, but also in the long run. To embed this ideology within our company and ensure people will benefit from our social projects Quince founded Proudly Open Minded (POM).
